Proof On The day enables users to offer an instant proofing and printing service on site. Credit or debit card payments can be taken via a secure server so that the sale is made in one operation. Proof On The Day generates a unique reference number for each image so that only the proof card holder can view and order their photographs. Other security options are supplied with the system including thumbs off (no photographs viewed) and individual password entry. Multiple images can be proofed by editing after photography, up to 5 images per proof card. If you are taking pictures of groups then a larger image is printed and multiple copies of the same image can be made.
Working from a database is no problem. Proof On The Day can embed database information at the point of photography, ideal for those taking ID photos for Capita SIMS® or similar systems, and for later production of ID cards and named products. Want your customers to prepay for their orders? Proof On The Day allows you to input customer order information into the database for automatic entry into our workflow system. Orders can be taken there and then with no additional paperwork.
The only equipment needed for proof production is an Inkjet printer linked to your laptop so very little capital investment is required to set up a basic system. A barcode scanner is needed for auto data entry. Proof printing costs are low and the software is free. The online sales system costs only 0.5% per order plus print costs and credit card charges with no up front subscription.
